Great Western War IX
Lure Coursing... Tally-Ho!
This was the second year Luring was at GWW.and despite a time mix up on thurs.. a dead battery and a dislocated finger.. it was a HUGE success. Saturday had the largest turnout with about 15 pups of all sizes and ages, including Baron a 6 month old St Bernard and Miss Molly who is a 9yr old Gr Dane! The is no question, Luring is catching on and shall be a permanent fixture at War..

Me.. Cera Foxmoor with my Danes,
DJ(L) and Miss Molly(R).
DJ gave it a good ole Dane try..
but once he hit the sun..
being a creature of comfort..
trotted back to the nice cool shade.
Straw, my Lord, with our Danes,
DJ(L) and Miss Molly(R).
Miss Molly charged after the lure like an ole pro.
Making it a bit further then half way before turning
back. Not bad for an ole gal.. with a black coat running
in the sun ~chuckles~
In fact, she turned 9 on 10/10/05.
Kind Gent holding DJ for us.
